I’m, uh, pretty clueless when it comes to hair accessories. I own maybe… 3. Of course, this is just an extension of my general hair-related cluelessness. But hair accessories have got to be easier than hairstyles, right? I mean, just pop on a headband or a clip or something and instantly transform your day-old greasy hair into some sort of crowning glory, right?
How about you? Do you wear anything in your hair? Is Claire’s as good a source as any, or is quality key? Me and my not-so-flowing tresses could use a little help!

Claire’s is just fine for hair accessories. I’m a huge fan of wearing crazy flower clips and headbands and whatnot, and I have found that the best places for relatively cheap accessories are your Forever 21-type places. H&M, Charlotte Russe, and anywhere else like that. Also, Ross and Marshalls usually have a big selection of hair thingies, at least around here. And of course, there is always Etsy but that seems to be a bit more expensive just because they’re all handmade. Lastly, you can always make fun hair accessories…if you look on Youtube, you can find all sorts of cool how-to videos, and you can pick up pretty much anything you need at Michael’s or other craft stores.
Katie, thanks! This comment is gold. And you reminded me that I still have that gift card to TJ Maxx/Marshalls.
