Michelle: C’mon, take my picture before we go out.
D: What are you wearing?
Michelle: You got a problem with it?
D: No, it’s cute!
Michelle: Mm Hm.
*D&M start walking out the door of their building. Some Dude raises an eyebrow at them.*
D: (oblivious) So, where you wanna do this?
M: Let’s just do it in the alley.
*Dude walks into fence.*

Come on, that would totally be just as full of innuendo if I had been wearing any other outfit.
Hm.

do you ever part your hair on the side? I have the weirdest curiosity as to what that’d look like.
I really ike it. It’s not too young, but as I said in your ‘age appropriate’ post I don’t really bother about what is correct for your age.
Thanks, S.
likeawoman, my hair doesn’t have a natural part, but I guess lately I’ve let it fall in the middle. Maybe I should try more hard side parts?
yeah, I want to see a side part!
I don’t think this outfit is a little young, but I do think it’s (unfortunately) a little hideous.
I’m sorry, that was unduly harsh. I think it’s just that the shirt is bringing out something visceral in me. I also can’t say I like the mary-janes wedges with this look.
oh that shit is FUNNY. You win an anecdote award.
nausicaa, Don’t worry, I feel only slightly less strongly about it. Maybe without the shoes and the bangles, neutral footwear… it might have a chance. But I guess you never succeed without a few failures.

There’s something about it that’s too covered up and doesn’t give it room to breathe. I think it starts with the neckline, which is way too high, and the slogan sits too high up too. You need either some uninterrupted plain fabric (like a simpler and maybe longer skirt), or some more bare skin (like a scoop neck) for it to look right.
I think that’s an excellent assessment, AllisonC!
