Item: Wide Silver Sequin Stretch Belt
Purchased: Late 2008 at H&M
My Thoughts: I’d been obsessed with the Dolce and Gabbana dress Beyonce wore to the 2008 Grammy Awards, and this seemed like it could be part of a slightly less flashy homage.
Uhhhh… I got nothin’.

Hey, I have a similar belt and went through all the creative thinking part of how to… specially because I wanted to wear it in daytime.
I was able to pull it off (or so I think I did… did I really?) wearing it with a white button down shirt, jeans, flat shoes and tiny silver studs
I agree with Lorena, I think white, or possibly light gray, is the way to go with this particular belt.

I can see using this belt to dress down and spunk up a fancier dress, particularly in a cool shade, the Trixie 2 dress for example. Pair it with a jean jacket or casual blazer. or add fun bangles
Around a black tank top with dark jeans in a club. Over a little black dress. Over a white button-down with a pencil skirt.
I have this same belt and wore it on NYE!
Both are kind of shitty shots of the outfit, but I’ve also used it to dress up a basic black strapless dress that I have too.

I think you should go casual, wear it with jeans and a tank top, and maybe some flats.
Do you have a women’s tux suit? I think this would be a sweet cummerbund. Just the thought that popped into my head when I saw it.
