Mmmmmm… Sleazy.
Is there anything that doesn’t go with black?
Pastels? Neon? Orange (too Halloween)? Beiges, browns?
Deep down I suspect every one of the above could work in some way, shape or form– even if I haven’t been able to coax out the hotness.
How about you? What do you think? Is there any color or pattern you never, ever mix with black? Is there a time you rocked (or saw someone rock) a black-and-something combo you never thought would fly? Or like Elle Woods, are you convinced that some other, underappreciated, just-as-versatile color is the “new” black?

My husband teases me that I wear black ‘all the time’ and that so many of my clothing pieces are black. I counter with ‘black goes with eeeeverything, m’dear. Lay off.’ Also, I have many bright, non-black pieces in my wardrobe. He just chooses to cherry pick
Love this outfit! Your skinny belts have inspired me to want to try one.
I see you, Caitlin’s Husband! Like he’s out there rocking chartreuse with cobalt? I bet a huge chunk of his wardrobe is light blue, white and/or beige.
