Yes, yes. These shoes (which I bought specifically for and have worn with this dress) would have been a better match. But consider the fact that we were on foot, and the weather outside was as follows:
I don’t actually come packaged with the Official Elle Woods Accessory SetTM, I just don’t own many waterproof bags. Or umbrellas for that matter– this one let in more rain than it kept out. Oh, well.
Eventually the skies cleared up and we had a great time. It was a pretty typical 21st birthday, with a little more adult supervision. It started out like this:
…proceeded to an obligatory MySpace-style shot of giant beer:
…followed by a set of handstamps:
…and ended with a basketload of greasy food:
Happy birthday, little bro! It’s all downhill from here.

Nonsense, it doesn’t really go downhill until after you turn 25. 21-25 usually means legal drinking AND income!
That’s a pretty foxy dress! I like it with the hot pink. A little Elle never hurt.
I think I would put the pink shoes with an all white dress suit. Keep the pink accessories, minus the ear rings.
Jess, true, but birthday-wise, the 22nd is the first in a long line of pretty anti-climactic ones.

I would not wear with a pants suit. It does not look right if you have hips. (Of course, if your confident, you can work anything.)
But listen…
All white suit with a knee length pencil skirt and stockings with a seam. With your hips, you could turn heads and your husband won’t even be able to hide the tent he’s pitching in public. XD
No, correction…
Make that a knee length hobble skirt.
