If you’re lucky, it’s payday, and that direct deposit is burning a hole in your bank account.  Time to celebrate with a “trendy” combination so classic, it dates back thousands of years.  Pairing a bright coral dress with some eye-catching turquoise jewelry (or vice versa) is as easy as spring gets.

I’m looking for a real steal.

 

Old Navy has an easy, breezy coral dress for just$24.50 (and it comes in petite and tall sizes, too).  Pair that with these pretty turquoise enamel earrings from Max & Chloe for $17, add the flip-flops or espadrilles in your closet, and you’re good to go for less than $50.  What are you waiting for?

Slightly splurgier is this summery cotton halter dress from J. Crew for $78.  It comes in a light coral (”tea rose”) as well as crisp turquoise, and is also available in petite.  I have a similar gauzy dress in black and I wear it alllll summer long.  Add these coral hoops from Kenneth Jay Lane via Shopbop for $44 and ohhhh…  I can’t wait for summer.

My numbers just hit.

If you have the money, beautiful jewelry can be a real investment.  I’d rather put my savings into a museum-quality piece from award-winning Navajo artist Michael Roanhorse Crawford than the stock market anyway.  (If you love his work and would rather spend hundreds than thousands, you can also find his handmade silver earrings here.)  And as long as your platinum card is out, pick up the stunning coral “Romy” dress by RM Roland Mouret.  What’s another two grand when you have it like that?

This is all well and good, but I’m hard to fit.
