Snapped in a dressing room where I was doing… important blog-related research.

You have seen everything here before– but not together. I call new outfit!

I think it’s officially time to drag out my new sewing machine and hem these jeans. Although I could wear them with a higher heel (these are about 2.5″, and many of my shoes are 4″), that’s just not going to give me the versatility I need this year. I have always heard that you should encourage your tailor (in this case, myself) to save the old hem to make the new hem, but I had no idea how that would work.

Until, that is, I found this awesome jean-hemming link! Looks easy and potentially reversible, and with no new hem, it should look factory-made (at least at a distance). Woo hoo! Stay tuned for important jean-hemming bloggery.
