More jeans! Shocking, but true! All a part of your (more or less) nutritious outfit.

As I’ve noted, pants– particularly jeans– and I have a bad history. My waist-hip differential (about 15″ as of this morning) is not jean-friendly, and being 5″2′* doesn’t help. When I was a few sizes bigger, I found the Lane Bryant Right Fit Blues impressive, but their smallest size was still just a bit too big for me. So close! Now that I am firmly in “straight” sizes (as opposed to plus) I’ve been keeping my eye out for the curviest fits in chain stores. (For example, Banana Republic’s “Jackson” fit pants.) These aptly-named “Curvy” cut jeans from Ann Taylor Loft (in this case, Petites) aren’t perfect, but they still beat 98% of the stuff out there, right off the rack.
- Black cami and button-down, both from H&M, circa 2002– possibly the most durable garments ever made in the history of H&M
- ATL Curvy Bootcut Jeans– $20 on sale (and other washes are on sale right now!)
- Possibly Too Chunky for This Outfit Necklace from Lane Bryant– $15 on sale
- Sneaks from Steve Madden Girl via Loehmann’s– $16.79 on clearance

Come on, they're totally cute.
*And a half!
