So I saw Vicky Cristina Barcelona over the weekend, and it turned out to be the last straw. I finally did it. I broke down and did something I hadn’t done since approximately 1991 (at which point I was apparently already waaaaayyy behind the times). I pegged my jeans. Yes, it’s being done! And it looked cute on Scarlett Johannson, so why not me?

- New Jersey tee purchased shortly after I moved from New Jersey (where I lived for only two years, so I’m a total poseur) from Urban Outfitters– something like $10 in the clearance bin
- AG Adriano Goldschmeid “The Club” Jeans via Filene’s Basement– actually “irregulars,” but I can’t find anything irregular about them, except the fact that they seem to fit both my hips AND my waist– $32 on sale with a coupon
- Black “Rain Crop” flats by Aerosoles– $19.99 on sale (a couple months ago)
Flats because what’s the point of wearing your jeans like this with heels? I was trying to get around the fact that I wanted to wear these 32″ inseam jeans, but (thanks to icy streets) I had to wear flats lest I end up like the Dunkin’ Donuts guy. I don’t know– I actually think this is totally cute. But I’m not sure I want to be mistaken for Katie Holmes.

I love this simple look! You look so cute, esp with your hair back. I’m not a big fan of pegged jeans (80s flahsback) but they look cute on you.
this is freaking adorable.
Thanks!
