Another day, another outfit. The temperature dipped below freezing, so I finally put on some tights.

- Shirtdress (with belt) from Ann Taylor Loft– $19.88 Final Sale
- Grey tights from a million years ago.
- Red enamel necklace from Loehmann’s– about $20
- Rubber-soled red shoes from Aerosoles– $29.99
- Hair elastic on my wrist courtesy of It’s Always There Because I Have to Put My Hair Up for Work.
I’m still deciding whether I should lean towards narrow belts, thick belts or no belt at all. I’m not sure what the “rule” is for any given body type, but I’m thinking I’ll start to see a pattern, thanks to the challenge.
These shoes are so comfortable and flexible that I can actually walk to work (about 1.5 miles away) in Georgetown (where some of the streets are paved with actual cobblestones). In general, I find Aerosoles to be very comfortable and supportive. They come in a variety of widths and many of them are actually stylish. They are quite affordable as well, especially when the stores/website have a big sale, and I’ve often been able to find them at Ross and Marshalls for $20 or less.
